Yunis is an app to help you train yourself by repeating one act for forty days in a row. We respect your privacy and collect as little as possible. This page explains what happens to your data.

1. No accounts, no sign-up

The app does not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.

2. Your practices stay on your phone

Practice titles, descriptions, reminder times, daily progress and settings are stored on your phone only. They are not sent to our servers and we cannot see them.

3. What the app connects to on the internet

The app connects to our server (younisapp.com) only to download the category list, the suggested practices and the "About Yunis" page. These requests do not include any personal information or anything from your practices. The app also loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google may see your IP address, as with any normal website or app.

4. Permissions

• Notifications and exact alarms: to ring your practice reminder at the time you choose. Reminders are scheduled on your device and do not go through our servers.
• Internet: for the items in section 3.
• Run at phone start-up, keep screen awake, show alarm over the lock screen: so reminders still work after a restart and appear when the phone is locked.

5. Backup

Android may back up the app's data to your own Google account (Auto Backup) if it is turned on on your phone. Google controls this backup according to your settings; we do not have access to it.

6. No ads, no selling of data

The app shows no ads and uses no analytics or tracking tools. We do not sell or share your data with anyone. The optional Premium subscription is handled entirely by Google Play: we never see your card details, and the app only learns whether your subscription is active.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Our website

The website younisapp.com may use a visitor-statistics tool (Statcounter) that collects general information such as country, device type and pages visited. This applies to the website only, not to the app.

9. Deleting your data

Because your data is on your phone, deleting a practice in the app, or uninstalling the app, removes it from the device.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with the update date.
